Solidarity Saturdays, a web based program of the ND Voices Community, returns Aug. 13 with the launch of its fall collection “Energy Again to the Individuals.”
Solidarity Saturdays is a digital area for North Dakotans to construct communities of empowered and knowledgeable advocates.
The primary program within the collection is North Dakota in a Submit-Roe World, a facilitated dialog on the historical past of reproductive rights in North Dakota, the state’s abortion set off legislation, and the way individuals can advocate for abortion entry. This system will characteristic Amy Jacobson, government director of Prairie Motion North Dakota, and Katie Christensen, North Dakota statedirector of Deliberate Parenthood North Central States in dialog with Zach Packineau of the ND Voices Community.
The five-part fall collection focuses on matters that impression North Dakotans and their means to take part in democracy, and examines reproductive healthcare, voting rights, elections, and the state legislative course of.
