In response, Dr. Shelly Malin, director of Well being Methods Management graduate packages, wrote and acquired approval to launch a pilot of the Marquette Nurse-School-in-Residence program to increase college impression past campus.
Enter Kameela Jackson, medical teacher, group well being nursing coordinator and the faculty’s first nurse-faculty-in-residence. Jackson (pictured above, in middle) spends three to 4 days per week working with each Marquette nursing college students and workers and college students at Milwaukee Academy of Science, a Close to West Facet STEM schooling faculty of greater than 1,200 kindergarten to twelfth grade college students.
